Attack on Knights Landing began in 2014 when five HEMA friends challenged a biker bar to a parking-lot melee. Today it's America's most honest medieval festival: real steel, real bruises, real brotherhood — on the banks of the Sacramento River.
No choreography. Our knights fight in 30kg of spring steel under IMCF rules. Axes break. Shields split. And after the horn — everyone drinks together. We run a living-history village with blacksmiths, armorers, weavers, falconers and cooks who live in canvas for 3 days to keep 1387 alive for you.

Yes! Sunday recruit melee + daily soft-sword tryouts. We provide gambeson, helmet and rattan weapons. You need closed shoes, courage and signed waiver. Age 16+ for soft, 18+ for steel.
